  • Martin Tanner Productions presented a reading of Caldwell’s Bomb as part of the Friday Night Footlights series at the Dramatist Guild of America, Inc. located on Times Square in New York City at 7:30 PM on March 1, 2013.

Dangerous to Dance WithIn this new dark comedy, a paranoid playwright, a broken acrobat, an insomniac farmer, a pornographic actress, and a plumber, who may be a hit man from New Jersey, meet in a secluded Missouri farmhouse. Together they face one of life’s most pressing questions: should they laugh, or should they die?

  • Dangerous to Dance With was read at 7:30 PM Tuesday, December 4 at the Irish Center at Union Station in Kansas City as part of the popular Martin Tanner Tuesdays series.

Musical:

Wild and Willful Women– Love, lust, and witchcraft in Puritan New England! This new musical play in collaboration with Kansas City musician/composer Daniel Doss  had its world premiere as a concert-style performance at the H&R Block City Stage at Union Station on October 29, 2012. It then won a place in the 2014 TRU Voices New Musicals Reading Series presented by Theatre Resources Unlimited and was performed for a full house at the Baruch Performing Arts Center’s Engelman Recital Hall in New York City on January 13, 2014.

One-Act Plays:

Collisions-A fender-bender ignites conflict between generations. **The top rated show in Kansas City for 2008 according to KCSTAGE magazine!

Death and the Publican– Lend an ear as the Publican and his patrons bend their elbows at the bar where time stands still.

Radio Play:

Irish Joe and the Dutchman: Private detective and former prize fighter,” Irish” Joe Nolan investigates his uncle’s murder. His enquiries take an ominous turn when he learns that the prime suspect is Kansas City’s most lethal mobster.

Ten-Minute Plays:

Mountaineers-A young man challenges the mountain to prove his courage. He finds paranoia a more daunting foe.

04-A man in urgent need of blue skies and sea breezes learns about Homeland Security.

The Birthday Check- Mother is a man’s best friend so long as she remembers to sign the check.

Feisty’s Choice-Free will or fate? Feisty confronts the perfect mystery on a dark and dreadful night.
